I didnt back this and to be totally honest I dont have a lot of interest in it, but Id very much like Shenmue 1 & 2 HD so I can experience the series from the beginning and try to understand why its so beloved. it is better to have the pay pal money in place early in production so the budget can be adjusted smartly and properly. While this announcement comes in the shadow of another Mighty No 9 delay, that should not. backer campaign, allowing those interested in funding the development of Shenmue 3, but missed the Kickstarter, to donate money to the game via PayPal. Despite a majority vote to open Kickstarter rewards to PayPal pledgers, the developer won't budge. and yes the concern trolling is back in force it seems. It is also not known if the PayPal backers will.

This hubris seems like it is attempting to push a self-fulfilling prophecy. PayPal purchase payments (goods & services) offer a certain degree of protection to buyers for a nominal fee you can dispute such payments if in case something goes wrong with the trade. I think there is a lot of pride in some game commentators with the stance they initially took with a game most of them always said would never be made for a laundry list of reasons, some pertinent and some exaggerated (like $80 Million development costs for each game). Cryptocurrencies and PayPal personal payments (friends & family) are as good as irreversible in nature you can not get your money back once its sent.
